Description:
Top: Overexposed diamond ring effect with a ghost image from the camera lens coatings showing the Baily's beads attenuated ~10,000 times. Bottom: I have used those usually annoying ghost images to create a composite image showing the partial phase, Baily's beads and totality around third contact of the April 8th total solar eclipse.
