Description:
Here is an Image I captured in Alexandria Virginia near our nation's capital. Bortle 9 skies. Over the course of 3 nights 8/7/2025 - 8/11/2025. This image is the Pickering's Triangle, It was Captured with a William Optics 120mm Refractor with a x.8 Reducer resulting in a F-ratio of 5.2 and a Focal length of 625. The Camera used was a ZWO 6200 OSC in APS-C mode clipping the natural chip size to 6384x4258. A triad filter only was used (discontinued) Acquisition using a ZWO ASIAIR+ for guiding. Pixinsight software was used for stacking and editing. The mount all this sits on is an Ioptron GEM45EC. The final stacking numbers. 72 light frames / 30 dark frames / 30 flat frames / 100 bias frames. I think this is a rare close up of Pickering's Triangle. Especially from Bortle 9. Would love t
