Hydrogen Alpha shot using a Lunt 60mm with a DMK41 monochromatic camera. CG4 EQ mount w/drive. Processed using Registax 6 and Paint Shop Pro 9.
We ended up driving 2.5 hrs. north from our home in Elmhurst, PA to Fulton, NY to find sunny conditions to shoot the Venus Transit. We got setup with only 20 minutes to the start of the transit. We took several videos for image processing. This image shows Venus just after second contact, with the chromospheric spicule ring just beyond by about 67 million miles!
