Description:
This is a wide field image of the Rho Ophiuchi Nebula (IC 4604) region. The initial integrated image revealed a sea of stars overlying the emission, reflection, and dark nebulae. After separating the stars from the background image with StarXTerminator, the nebulae could be better seen as well as the now revealed surrounding nebulosity and dust. Brighter stars were reintroduced into the image for reference.
