Description:

The Rosetta Nebula (also known as Caldwell 49 or Sharpless 275) is an H II region located near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the Monoceros region of the Milky Way Galaxy. This image was shot during multiple nights in North Reading, Massachusetts, USA. The total integration is 31.25 hours, with narrowband filters: Ha, SII, Oiii. The image is stacked using Astro Pixel Processor, post processed in PixInsight. The image is in SHO palette (Hubble Palette)
