Description:

The Rosette Nebula (NGC 2237) is a large gas cloud in the constellation Monoceros. It is approximately 5,200 lirht years away. As you can see by the picture it is a star forming region with over 25oo young stars , some only about one million years old. I captured this photo using a Zwo asi294 mc pro camera with a Askar 120mm APO telescope on a sky-watcher EQ6 r pro mount. I used a 7 nm duel band filter and 55 four minute exposures.
