Description:
The attached photo of the Rosette Nebula SHO was captured by me and edited on February 12, 2026 using the following equipment…. TEC 180 Refractor FLI 16803 Mono Camera Astro-Physics 1600 GTO CP4 mount with Absolute encoders Chroma Filters for the SHO Unguided 5 min. sub-frames Total integration time was 7 hours of SHO I edited the image data using PixInsight. The two evenings were exceptional with approximately a 1.5 arc sec seeing and a late wanning moon. Transparency was exceptional as well. I have been an Astrophotographer for 15 years now and teach pro bono astronomy and astrophotography to community, libraries, local schools, and a few colleges (Notre Dame U. & App State U.) that annually come to my observatory.
