Description:
The attached image was captured throughout the Month of may from my rooftop in Brooklyn using SHO narrowband filters. RGB filters were used to capture true color stars. I chose this composition because I like the way the dark nebulae lead to and encircle the bright star Sadr. The light from Sadr creates a striking reflection on nearby nebulae, which you can see directly to its left. Also in this image is the Inchworm star cluster, top right, with a pretty, blue, oxygen-heavy region as backdrop.
