Description:
This spot is one of my favourite on the island. That night was truly magical with the sound of sea lions breathing and swimming nearby, and Orion culminating above the southern horizon. Despite thin clouds near the horizon and light pollution from Victoria and Seattle, I managed to capture faint details of nebulae within the constellations of Canis Major and Monoceros, like the Seagull Nebula, which feels perfectly at home in this seascape.
