Description:
Sh2-112 is an emission nebula with beautiful dust lanes in Cygnus. It lies 5,600 light-years from Earth. It is situated only 1.3 degrees northeast of Deneb and 3 degrees northeast of the North America and Pelican Nebulae, but is rarely imaged. It is surrounded by faint diffuse hydrogen-alpha nebulosity. Exposures: Ha:L:R:G:B =510:1590:85:85:85 minutes = 39 hours, 15 minutes total exposure.
