Description:

Three years have passed since the last similar observation. And how does this relate to the monthly repetitions of chiaroscuro phenomena? Three years ago I last looked into the mouth of a lunar monster - some T-Rex or a shark - I don't remember. But I remember this set of sharp teeth, on the one hand, ruling someone's life and, on the other, announcing someone's satisfaction and fulfilled hope. After 1121 days, I took a successful photo of Shadows in Rainbow Bay again. 36 lunation cycles have passed fruitlessly. In the 37th cycle, fortune allowed me to sit on the throne of satisfaction again. And the icing on the cake was the sight of the Pythagoras crater near the rim. Finally, something simply beautiful that brings the senses and expectations into the chains of ordinary rationality. The moon 3 days and 5 hours after the third quarter, September 10, 2023 at 05.25, at an altitude of 40* above the horizon, in quite good conditions. Slight haze, image slightly shaky.
