Description:

A fairly faint nebula requiring deep H-alpha imaging to bring out the detail, long exposures reveal it to be wreathed in fainter nebulosity. The image has picked up two faint planetary nebulae, both appearing as red blobs because of the dominance of the H-alpha signal. Exposed mainly in H-alpha (37.5 hours) with 4 hours each in LRGB for the stars. Equipment: Planewave CDK14 on 10Micron GM2000 mount with FLI P09000 CCD camera and Astrodon LRGB and H-alpha (3nm) filters. Imaged from the IC Astronomy hosted site in Oria, Spain and processed in PixInsight.
