Image was taken with a Nikon Z8 camera equipped with a 300mm f/2.8G telephoto lens. The camera was mounted on a ballhead-equipped tripod. Imaging was performed using ISO 102400, 1sec exposures and @ f/3.5.
Description:
Shown here is comet C/2025 R2 SWAN as it approaches the Eagle Nebula and the Omega Nebula. This stacked image was produced using 40 lights and 26 darks. Noise reduction and sharpening were performed subsequently using TOPAZ software. Even though the comet appeared bright in the image, no significant tail was observed.
