This image shows Bailey's beads to Bailey's beads totality of the 62 second 2023 hybrid total eclipse. With the Moon and Sun being so close in apparent diameter the chromosphere was well displayed around much of the occulting Moon throughout totality. This image captures the brilliant flares and edge of the exposed chromosphere during totality that seemed to last but a moment.
