Description:
Dusty, Messy and 8.7 magnitude Bright Comet 10P/Tempel2 heads to a favorable Perihelion and Earth's MOID Aug2 and 3rd. In this whopping ~ 3 x 2 degree field comet 10P/ Tempel2 can easily catch one's eye with its vibrant green coma. The dusty fields that border Aquarius and Capricornus hide much of the linear orbital dust debris which extends well beyond this FOV. The linear orbital dust lane can be clearly seen on individual 4minute subs.
