Description:

Comet is larger, brighter and orbital trail is more defined than July11. Blue-Green coma measures over 40' in diameter Dust trail thinnest and brightest thus far. Lucky moment to have an IFN "hole" centered in the FOV allowing the coma to be on its own. NEEDS VERIFICATION! 10P/'s dust tail is viewed as a faint yellowish structure extending along and slightly below the right orbital trail (4 o'clock pos.) Better seen on the inverted color image as a fan-shaped gray blue structure. My measurements indicate the comet is brighter than 8th magnitude. No real comparison stars for accuracy though.
