Description:

This is the discovery image of the new bright supernova ( SN 2023rve ) in NGC 1097, it was discovered on 8 September by Mohammad Odeh, through a supernova search program conducted by Al-Khatim Observatory (M44) operated by the International Astronomical Center. Currently, it is the brightest supernova in the sky, M(I) around 13.8 and it is still brightening.
