Description:

Dark nebulae are a show apart, some visible with the naked eye in places with low light pollution, these regions are a type of interstellar cloud so dense that it obscures the starlight in the background. Dark clouds appear like this due to micrometric dust particles, coated with carbon monoxide and frozen nitrogen, which effectively blocks the passage of light at visible wavelengths. THESE DUST MOLECULAR CLOUDS PROBABLY CONTAIN SUFFICIENT RAW MATERIALS TO FORM HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF STARS
