Description:

A little east of Sadr in Cygnus, there is this wondrful field containing vdB133 the snowball and Sh2-106 the hourglass. Striking is the color contrast between reflection and emission nebula. The hourglass is a bipolar structure of star formation, and pictures with really goos resolution reveal an amazing wealth of fine structure visible. We are looking though a gap right into the star breeding chamber. LRGBHa with 10" f/4 Lacerta Newton
