Equipment:

Sony a7iii | Coronado Solar Max II | Barlow Lens 2x | Celestron AVX EQ

Description:

It was a perfectly clear day at the Highland Road Park Observatory, so I thought I'd pull out the Coronado to get some shots of the Sun. With the 800mm Focal Length of the scope, and the 2x Barlow Lens, I was able to get a full shot of the entire disc of the Sun with my mirrorless camera. After stacking over 200 frames in AutoStakkert, processing them in Registax and Photoshop, this is the result that I got. Probably the best photo I have gotten of the Sun in H-Alpha
