Description:
I was intrigued by an unlabeled bubble of nebulosity I noticed on Stellarium. It did not show up on my Tirion Sky Atlas either. After searching online, I identified it as the supernova remnant CTB-1. It was originally designated as a planetary nebula so is also cataloged as Abell 85. Image create3d from 221, 5-minute exposures through SHO filters with RGB stars added.
