Description:

As I have been following this binocular bright comet for the past few months. Comet 13P/ Olbers has been playing the unexpected game of what's new tonight. Who would have guessed this comet's erratic behavior is its typical behavior back in 1956 - on the comet's last return (of course the highly active sun has helped a little)? Luckily a few things are predictable, such as the moment Olbers would be flying by (conjunction) M64, The Black eye galaxy. Although I was able to catch the comet- galaxy combination the night before, this is when the line-up of the comet "pointing" at the distant galaxy seemed perfect. And the skies were near perfect also!
