Description:

This composite of the first three consecutive evenings of October 13, 14 and 15 "nights" that C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS was visible (my latitude) once the comet became visible after perihelion. I also imaged A3 on the 12th however the twilight hindered the comet image and washed out any hopes of seeing anything more than the centralized nuclear region. The imaging rig was mounted piggyback on a RASA8. Twilight and moonlight of course had a direct impact on the the way this comet appeared over the course of the nights. The length of the comet forced 10 panels (mosaic) in order to get most of the comet in view. Strictly star alignment only forcing the anti-tail cut off and was due in part to framing and lack of coverage. Individual mosaic can be found on my ASTROBIN account.
