Description:

Embedded within the larger Taurus Molecular Cloud is the the star forming region Sh2-239. Sh2-239 is also part of the dark nebula LDN 1551. Many jets of hydrogen and several Herbig-Haro objects are embedded within the nebula indicating protostars.
