Description:
Close up of Flaming star nebula from Bortle 9 light polluted skies. The narrowband image was captured using S II, H α, and O III filters, with a total integration time of 7 hours. The O III signal proved significantly weaker than S II and H α channels. The image was processed in PixInsight and is in HSS palette. It is fitting to be called "Stellar Embers" or "Stellar Ashes" due to red tones (like fire) and cool blues/darker dust lanes (like ashes)
