The Moon's altitude in this shot is 9° 45'. The sky had been overcast since moonrise about an hour earlier. I had just about given up when I noticed a sucker hole drifting in from the west, and decided to wait it out. The opening lasted about 10 minutes. Another brief opening rolled through an hour later during the partial phase. Just goes to show.
