Description:
The sun is VERY active right now. If you still have your eclipse glasses, look at the sun, you may be able to see a chain of giant sunspots. This picture is in hydrogen alpha so you won't be able to see this. But some of the sunspots are creating those giant plumes of plasma coming off the surface of the earth. Each one of those are multiple times the size of the earth!
