Stack of 300 video images shot at 30 FPS through a 50 mm Lunt pressure-tuned hydrogen alpha solar telescope with a ZWO ASI 462MC camera. Processed in Planetary System Stacker and Pixinsight software on an M1 MacBook Pro.
Description:
There was sunspot activity earlier this week. This image was taken from our deck this past Sunday afternoon. In the lower left is activity around Solar Areas 3079 and 3074, along the Southwest limb of the sun. Small flares were visible in the same areas, and are best seen in the accompanying inverted image.
