Description:

The Crab Nebula is a supernova remnant in the constellation Tarus. It is 6,500 light years away rom earth. It's the result of a massive star's explosive death , witnessed in 1054 AD. At it's center is a rapidly rotating neutron star. I used my 120 mm askar APO telescope with a .8 reducer/ corrector with a ZWO ASI 294mc pro color camer with a sv 220 dual band 7nm filter all riding on a sky-watcher EQ6R pro mount in my Rock Top Observatory in bortle 4 skys. I took 3 hours of 6 min. exposures before the clouds rolled in.
