Description:
This image is of the Cresent Nebula taken between June the 21st 2023 to the 7th of July 2023. From my suburban location in Gloucester Uk. At this time of year it doesn't really get dark so Narrowband Imagining is my preference. Using my Sharpstar PH-140 refractor and ZWOasi2600mm camera I captured 21 hours of 5 minute exposures using Antlia Ha and Oiii filters. All processed in PixInsight, the Ha to the Red Channel and the Oiii to the Green and Blue combined. The Star Spikes effect I added using the Starspikes pro4 plugin for Photoshop. Other than Blur X and Noise X I didn't tweek the image much in final processing.
