Description:

My family rented an Air BnB in Waxahachie, Texas, more than a year ago. But the night before the eclipse it appeared that it very well may be cloudy on eclipse day. So I went with half my family to Pencil Bluff, Arkansas, where there was a better chance of clear skies. A nice man who went by "Hoot" saw us setting up along the roadside and invited us onto his land for a better viewing site. So we setup and enjoyed the eclipse from the top of a hill in the middle of a cattle pasture under a windmill, a perfect spot! As it turned out the skies were clear in Waxahachie and everyone in my family got to see the 4+ minutes of totality!
