Description:

The Iris nebula is a beautiful reflection nebula in constellation Cepheus. The nebula shines at a magnitude of +6.8 due to it's central star. Reflection nebulae consist of small dust particles which diffuse the light around them giving the characteristic bluish glow. The image integrates around 21h 20m through RGB filters.
