This composite image captures the spectacular planetary conjunction of Venus and Jupiter between June 7 and June 11, 2026. Photographed from Pedara, Sicily, Italy, the sequence tracks Jupiter's swift orbital path relative to a central, brilliant Venus, showcasing their changing separation over five consecutive evenings. The closest approach occurred on the evening of June 9, reaching a minimum apparent distance of 1° 36'.
