Description:

The Pleiades are also called the “seven sisters”. They form a cluster of dozens of stars about 440 light-years from Earth. Due to their brightness they are also visible to the naked eye and have been mentioned since ancient times. They are surrounded by reflection nebulae, but these are only visible in long exposure photos. The photo is the result of an exposure of approximately 15 hours under the polluted sky of the city of Milan.
