Canon EOS 40D (APS-C DSLR), EF 85mm f/1.8 lens @f/4 for 8 seconds and ISO=500, fixed tripod.

Description:

10 minutes before the end of astronomical twilight I was easily able to record 9th magnitude stars in the Pleiades and the sublime Venus / Moon conjunction. This has got to be a $50 winner!! (full-res and unlabeled version available)
