Description:

This false color contains no Ha light, the prominences have been dug out of the solely calcium light, by combining two different exposures (4:33 + 4:33 of light) to compensate for the really unfavorably high dynamic range. A lot of editing went into getting rid of the optic's artifacts, internal reflections and wavelet-related ringing etc.
