Description:
This image of M51 was taken with an 8 inch SCT on an Astro-Physics Mach2 mount at Sierra Remote Observatories. A luminance filter (400-700 nm) was used. A ZWO ASI533MM pro CMOS camera was used to acquire a large number of 10 second exposures for DSO lucky imaging.
