Description:

Messier 11 (aka NGC 6705 or the Wild Duck Cluster) is an open cluster located in the constellation Scutum in the Milky Way. The open cluster is surrounded by dark nebulae including Barnard 108, 112, 155, 318, and 320. The image is a total of 1 hr exposure.
