Description:
It was a beautiful clear morning at Sunrise in Emeryville. Mercury was exactly mid-transit crossing the sun. Here's a highly processed image of the sun at 0700 PST, mainly to diminish the brightness of the sun and sharpen the shadow that was Mercury. Image was a stack of 20 shots at ISO 100, 1/1000th sec exposure through a 300 mm telephoto lens at F4.0, processed mainly with deconvolution, unsharp mask and curves transformation on PixInsight software. Arrow points at Mercury.
