Description:

The sky was again really humid and hazy for this Titan event, but I was able to image for about 30 minutes. The first series of 2000 images at 40msec turned out the best, so I stacked the best 200 frames, using Autostakkert!, and then did some gentle wavelet processing in MaxIm DL. The Seeliger Effect, which should produce brighter rings, is apparent, compared to my September 3 image. Titan itself is just visible, nearly overlapping its shadow on the lower left. My web page has short movies that show the motion of the shadow and what the raw images look like before processing.
