Description:
Photographing the May 26 total eclipse of the Moon proved to be challenging since we had a lot of high cirrus clouds during much of the eclipse. Fortunately, the Moon passed into a relatively clear spot just above the Chiricahua Mountains as totality began. This image was shot with a Nikon D950 and a Vixen 90mm fluorite refractor telescope. Exposure info: f/13, 8 seconds, IE 800. Portal, AZ.
