Description:
Traveled to Frannie, Wyoming because it was the closest location that had a higher probability for skies clear enough to view the transit for us. Viewed about 4 hours of the transit in near 100 degree F temperatures. During our return to Butte, MT, we encountered a "spring" snowstorm near home. Thus is the pursuit of astronomy in the northern Rocky Mountains. Sun obscured by clouds coming in from Yellowstone Park.
