By Bubtske Captured on June 17, 2025, at 4:32 AM Telescope: Celestron NexStar 8SE Camera: iPhone 15 Pro Lunar Phase: Waning Gibbous (Second Quarter) Illumination: 60.28% – representing the percentage of the Moon’s surface reflecting sunlight. Imaging Method: High-speed sequential capture, selecting and stacking over 75 of the sharpest frames to create a final 72-megapixel composite. Post-Processing: The image was expanded, refined, and enhanced using advanced color-channel mining techniques to reveal intricate structural patterns inside Tycho Crater.
