Description:

Uranus (apparent magnitude 5.6) through my 8 inch Dobsonian Telescope. It is nearly at opposition, displaying a green-blue disk spanning 3.79” across. I star hopped from the Pleiades to locate it. Also visible are the stars V1124 Tauri (mag 7.63) to the south west of the planet and HD1135 (mag 6.59), to the north east. It is located in Taurus.
