Description:
The months of March and April 2026 provided an abundance celestial activity in the western sky after sunset. Every clear evening, I imaged Uranus as it neared the Pleiades open cluster (M45). The first image was taken on March 23, 2026 and the last one was taken on April 23, 2026. On April 19, Venus started to make an appearance near the bottom of the field of view. Venus moved little higher each evening, meeting up with Uranus on April 23, 2026. The 8% waxing crescent moon made an appearance above M45 on April 19, 2026. An annotated image has also been uploaded labeling the movement of the planets.
