Waning crescent moon (8% illuminated) rises over Cranbrook Community Forest, as seen from central Cranbrook; astronomical altitude 4.4 degrees, azimuth 94 degrees (east); April 25th, 2025. Crescentic Morning Star Venus (right facing) was prominent 6 degrees to the upper right.
