Description:
The Whirlpool Galaxy or M 51 which is locaded aprox. 23 million light -years away in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is a spiral galaxy which is one of the brightest and most picturesque galaxies in the night sky. I took this photo from my observatory last night with my Askar 120 APO and a 1x field flattner with a zwo asi294 mc pro camera on a sky-watcher EQ6 r pro mount with about 4 hours of imaging in a bortle 4 sky.
