I am pleased to share with you a vertical panorama of the Milky Way intertwined with a serpent-shaped tree. This peculiar shape is due to the strong coastal winds that, over time, shape the trees as they grow. The photograph was taken in the ancient Leiria forest, a region influenced by the wind and the sea.
