Description:
The winter Milky Way last night at Reid State Park in Maine. You can see Orion, Pleiades, and Zodiacal light. It was a very calm and dark night which was perfect for astrophotography. This is a 16 frame panorama with each frame consisting of a 4 image stack - making this shot a whopping total of 64 exposures! Editing this beast was quite challenging. Starry landscape stacker was used for stacking. Then I used Hugin to stitch the bottom and top rows separately and warped/blended them together in Photoshop.
