It rained all day in Boston yesterday, so there was no live viewing of the transit of Mercury. Yet another rare event blocked from New England's skies. Fellow editor Edwin Aguirre was ready to travel a bit to see the event, but he checked all Clear Sky Clocks 120 miles around Albany, New York, and found them all predicting clouds.

I couldn't even see the transit "live" via webcast — I never successfully reached a hosting site. Kelly Beatty said he managed to catch a glimpse at San Francisco's Exploratorium before being disconnected.

Thankfully, as you can read in the comments to my previous blog article, plenty of people did see something, and were able to share it with others. If you're among the successful, please post your stories as a comment to this or the previous article.
